The intention of this project is to explore new possibilities in perspectives with street photography while keeping the same goal of capturing the candid moments of people and lives in public places. With various types of juxtapositions, compositions, expositions, and concealments of objects, I will use the method of photo stitching to connect unrelated contents together to create a brand new interesting story.
I chose Singapore as my location because it seems like a vibrant combination of different cultures and people, however, once you insert yourself among it all, you will see that there are mismatches happening within this combination.
This realization evolved into a project called SINGAPORE: CONNECTION | ISOLATION: the project that uses street photography as a tool to create a unity of connection from unrelated isolations.
I nicknamed this project “ภาพสต่อโฟโต้” (pab-sa-tor-photo).
