Beached is an exploration of Pattaya. It hints at darker things. It doesn't force the viewer to confront the dark truths that one would expect to see. If you show someone a photo they expected to see, they go “Yea, Yea, that’s what I thought.” And then they turn away and give it no more thought. But what if you show them the unexpected? Then they have to take time to understand the photo, figure it out for themselves and consider the implications of what they are seeing. None of these photos are what they seem.
is a graduate from the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University, where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Visual Communication. He is based in Bangkok as a freelance photographer with the hopes of exploring the South East Asian region and all the good and bad it has to offer.
