Parade
These photos are from the Military Parade to honor His Majesty the King. I Didn't have a goal for the photos, as I was just there as a tourist, and not on assignment. But I believe any subject matter has particular style, or set of styles, that can best represent the subject. In this case, we have a parade. There are many layers to this event, so my approach was to show these layers. The first layer is the location, which I found very interesting. The second layer was the parade. And the final layer was the spectators. I think the images that are mot successful in this small series, are the ones that show all three layers, with something interesting in each layer (example is the selfie picture.) However some of the photos do not have any context, no "who, what when, or where."( example is the picture of the cadets legs, and the balloons in the sky) Sometimes I like to make photos like that so they can challenge the viewer, and force them to look at  photos with information to figure out the photos without information, which leads to deeper understanding.
